Rifianto Aryo Arianto the nickname Tanto, began playing classical guitar since the age of 12 years (self-taught). His interest in electric guitar when heard Yngwee Malmsteen.

In 1993 to 1997 he had begun studying at Yamaha electone Indonesia. Then he proceeded to deepen the guitar in 1999 at local music schools and more than ten years has been playing in various bands.

After that he finally decided to seriously study music at the Institut Musisi Indonesia (IMI) in Jakarta. Many styles and musicians, excellent musicians began to affect the way his playing guitar during that era, such as ex-Siam Shade Daita, Yngwee Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Scott Henderson, Matias Erklund, Andre Dinuth, Bernard "B2N" Larso, and much more. After the formal music education, he found that his style have entered the mainstream.

He graduated from IMI in 2008, Jakarta, he produced an instrumental guitar album entitled "The Art of Ninja" a combination of Japanese music, fusion, rock, and pop.

Now he works as a songwriter, arranger, session player, and music teacher. Until recently he was still dedicated to the music world because of his love for the very large in art music.

Now he works at Guitar School of Indonesia as a music teacher.
